“Swaggy P” is a household name in Los Angeles. A crowd favorite.

Not only will Nick “Swaggy P” Young WOW you with his wordrobe;  his Rucker Park-esque, herky-jerky style of play will electrify any crowd like Denver Nuggets point guard Nate Robinson.

You just never know what Swaggy P’s going to do.

The Lakers had their eye on Young for years and finally had the opportunity to sign the 28-year-old last season and it was definitely worth it.

Albeit with a depleted roster, Young led the Lakers in scoring, tallying 17.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and shot better than 43 percent from the field.

He hit the 40-point mark twice this season. He torched the Portland Trail Blazers for 40 in a loss on April 1 and then dropped 41 on the Utah Jazz on April 14.
